About Us

Hey there, thank you for visiting our page!

My name is Hattie, and I'm the founder of LBC QH's & K-9's. This business is structured around my lifelong passion for quality horses and dogs.

LBC strives to bring breed standards back to the fundamentals of the species, and equipping these animals with skills that allow them to be successful in their profession, whether that be a competitive rope horse, or a fluffy butt, couch potato!

We focus on three major aspects with our animals: Conformation, Disposition, & Temperament.

We want to bring to you, our clients, the perfect animal to match your needs.

Our Equine Program

LBC is involved in many different aspects of horses and dogs.

We are always building and rebranding our equine programs too better our stock and move in a direction that suits our clientele, because you are important to us!

Although we have many years of experience in training and competing with our horses, our learning never stops. We are always attending clinics that are structured around many different disciplines. We want to stay sharp, and expand our knowledge to better help you!

I am personally very passionate about colt starting. I believe that the correct start to a colt's riding career has a huge impact on how he/she excels in life.

We will also have quality horses available that have been tested and approved by our team at LBC.

Our Canine Program

We are slowly building a stellar program of registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis and registered Australian Cattle Dogs.

Our dogs examplify extroadinary conformation, disposition, and temperment for each breed.

We are available everyday, most hours for your convenience!

Pre-Purchase Exams,

Veterinarian Exams & Health Certificates are absolutely welcomed at the expense of the interested party.

Sales

Little Berger Creek Quarter Horses and Canines sells and guarantees quality, through & through.

We offer horses at various stages of life. These horses will range from utero to aged.

LBC will also offer horses at different levels of riding/experience.

Most of the horses that we offer have been through our training program and have passed our tests!

All known information will be disclosed prior to sale.

LBC QH's & K-9's sells and guarantees exceptional examples of Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and Australian Cattle Dogs.

These pups will be sound, healthy, and very loved!

They will be rehomed with 2 weeks worth of food, age appropriate vaccinations, Registration papers, and puppy training pamphlets.

Little Berger Creek Quarter Horses and Canines will also have limited opportunities for other items. This can include: Tack, horse/dog supplies, equipment, and other horse/dog friendly items!

Transportation

Mode of transportation will be dependent on the destination and needs of the animal.

We are available to transport animals via vehicle, or accompany them via air transport.

We have lots of experience with transporting horses and dogs. We have specific "To Do's" when transporting animals and take it very seriously! We want your new addition to arrive happy and healthy to you!

This has been such a fantastic learning experience, and really gives you an appreciation for the biomechanics of the horse, along with the art of a great farrier.

Training

Colt Starting

45 days minimum, we prefer atleast 60 days for unstarted colts.
Groundwork before all!
We believe that a solid foundation on the ground is the key to a successful riding career.
We take our colts through a series of techniques on the ground, which transitions groundwork to riding seamlessly.
We aim for uneventful, responsive first rides. We want our colts confident, calm, and eager to learn when we mount up and take our first ride.
Within 45 days, our goal is to have your colt moving off leg, soft in the face, riding outside an arena, and having real life experiences under their belt!

(Goals are subjective to the colt.)

LBC offers many different aspects of horse training!

From Chunky to Hunky!

LBC offers exercising & "legging up" for both performance and pleasure riding horses.
When focusing on getting a horse back into shape we follow the horse's needs rather than a "one all be all" plan.

A fitness/dietary plan will be determined as we consult with the owner, and assess the horse's specific needs.

Starting under Harness

LBC offers our services for starting horses, & drafts under harness.
We now offering driving training to the public!

Foundation Training

We offer training to continue horses under saddle, developing fancy buttons, and getting 'real life' experiences.

"Problem" Horses

We will have limited spots available for "problem" horses, we ask for clients to send details to discuss best training options.

Mini Sessions

Pricing

We will travel to a location of your choice within a 20 mile radius of our home location, without any mileage fees.
Sunset Mini Sessions are $185 for unaltered photos on an SD card.
At an additional fee we will edit 10, 20, 30, or 40 pictures and return them on an SD card, or we can print and fill a photo album for you!

Our mini sessions will be photographed at the location of your choice!

These are small photography sessions, and have a few price variables!

Consignment and Sale Prep Horse Requirements:

Current Lameness Exam
Current on all annual cares

Teeth Floating

Vaccinations
Deworming
Annual cares can be done through our care, but there will be an up-charge for our time and travel.

Must be open to potential buyer's performing their own PPE's @ their expense.

LBC will have a limited number of available spots for consignment and sale prep horses!

Off-Site Consignments

We are now offering an "off-site" consignment option. This will consist of owners sending me all the information on their animal that is available for sale. I will require "Off-Site" animals to be current on all annual cares, videos at W/T/L (if applicable), and confirmation pics. Sellers must be open to Veterinarian exams included but not limited to: PPE's, Repo Exam, Health Certificates, and any other exams that potential buyer's request within bounds.

"Off-Site" Consignments are not limited to just horses.

Pet Sitting

LBC offers "In Home" Pet Sitting

"In Home" Pet Sitting allows your pets to stay in the comfort of their own home while you're away.

There are a few ways that we offer this service, depending on time of year/scheduling/location.

We will stay at your home with your animals and care for them 24/7 while you're away.
We come to your house as many times a day as your animals' schedules require to care for them and keep them in their normal routine.
